More detailed pics of the painting process:

Looks like she will receive the full livery (they are covering the windows).

First "official" render of the Rusadir with Balearia livery, for a moment she appeared at Balearia's webpage but they deleted the link.

Looks pretty darn sweet if I'm honest. Something just clicks right with Balearia's paint scheme on her...

She’s just left, coming onto her and went straight to the Gdansk webcam - she has just left by the looks of it so missed her by about 10 mins.  Been painted in new livery

The modern passenger and car ferry Rusadir (ex. Honfleur ), chartered by the Spanish shipowner Baleària,  left the shipyard in Gdynia today and moored in Gdańsk for a few days to fill the ship's tank with liquefied natural gas (LNG). It will sail to Malaga next Saturday.

Rusadir (ex: Honfleur ) is a passenger/car ferry that is formally owned by Siem Shipping Inc as of December 2021. (the company has a branch in Gdynia dealing with the technical and operational management of ships - Siem Ship Management Sp. z oo). Until today, the ship was moored at Stocznia Remontowa Nauta SA, where it underwent the last finishing works before entering the regular line, such as rebranding (turquoise and white painting of the sides characteristic of this Spanish shipowner).

Ferry between Between 15 and 16 it moored in Gdańsk, at the Westerplatte level, in order to fill the tank with liquefied natural gas (the so-called LNG bunkering), so that it could sail to Malaga this Saturday. Rusadir  will serve the regular Melilla-Malaga line.

Rusadir aroused interest even before entering Gdynia due to perturbations related to its construction.

She looks a lot better in her new whistle, that white has been broken up looks a lot more in proportion. Good job.

Too late to edit above post but anyone in Gdansk a good photo op coming at around 10-10.30 this morning.  Nova Star is on her way in and Rusadir is docked in front of the Polferries terminal at the moment so they will meet.  The two rejected, and meant for the Channel ferries as good as docked next to each other give a few yards.  I’ll see what I can fish out of the webcam but won’t be brilliant - if someone is in Gdansk there is a very rare chance to get some good pics.

Wonder how close she'll come to any former fleetmates as she passes through the channel. BF must be intrigued to see her..

Any idea if she’ll rest overnight anywhere on her way to Spain?
